What We Will See: Los Angeles Home Tours 2016

LA Home Tours: June 25, 2016

Exciting news! This year our Los Angeles home tours will take us to the trendy Eastside/Hills area. Our limo driver will brave the insane traffic that is Los Angeles, just so we can view amazing architecture and interiors. There will be lots of beverages and snacks to keep us going. Bring your camera and an open mind to capture all the innovation and inspiration.

Architecturally and culturally significant, LA’s Eastside is made up of small, trendy neighborhoods that are home to endless boutique shopping and an ever-growing dining scene that includes beautiful outdoor patios, diverse dining experiences and eclectic bars.

The “Hills” refers to the residential area situated within the Santa Monica Mountains that overlooks the city and is known for its breathtaking views and endless maze of windy streets that provides its exclusive residents with a sense of seclusion and serenity.

Our 5 house tour will include the following homes:

The Samuel Novarro House
The Samuel Novarro House designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright Jr in 1928. This 2,800 sq. ft. home sits on a spacious 13,250 sq ft lot.  Just before starting construction, Wright and his father took a trip to Colombia to study the Mayan ruins and it had quite an influence on the design and facade of the home. Actress Diane Keaton acquired the house in the 80’s and remodeled the interior with architect Josh Schweitzer.
