Friday Finds: Heather Ross {Natural Eclectic} Boutique
Today’s Friday Finds is going to be an exploration of the beautiful items in Heather Ross’ {Natural Eclectic} boutique store at 2170 Fir Street here in Vancouver. There is so much to see, that I would plan to spend at least 30 minutes in the store to ensure you get a good look at all the goodies. The store is beautifully styled, with a mixture of European and vintage items. Heather Ross is an artist, photographer & designer. Her aesthetic sensibility is evident in the colours and evocative imagery throughout the shop. I had a chance to chat with Heather’s sister who told me the store, Natural Eclectic was originally set up for Heather to style for her upcoming book.
From her website, “The gallery/boutique is a favourite amongst designers, art directors & set decorators who covet Heathers unique vision for bringing unexpected items together with nuance & grace. She loves to use natural found objects in her charming displays & is drawn to simple organic forms & authentic materials.”
{Natural Eclectic} boutique also carries some great hand creams, candles, and soaps. According to Heather, the soaps have a therapeutic level of pure essential oil & organic shea butter. They’re triple milled and smell and feel amazing.
Go to {Natural Eclectic} boutique and have a look for yourself and see how easy it is to get lost in Heather’s captivating vignettes.
Buy something to ensure original and beautifully curated boutiques like this one stay around, to keep our cities livable, dynamic and exciting!!
