Friday Finds: Valentine’s Day Fun

Here are a few Friday Finds that I think would make great gifts for your Valentine on Valentine’s Day.

These unique and very cool skull tea towels are by Rory Dobner, out of London, UK, and are available from Goodge Place on West 8th Avenue.  3. These unique coasters, are a celebration of our design-centric cities in the United States and Canada. Set one, features West coast to East coast: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. The second set is of our beloved Canadian cities, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Ottawa. You can pick up these coasters from Walrus on Cambie Street, $41.00.  4. Some honey for your honey, by Jane’s Honey Bees, locally made in the Fraser Valley. Jane’s Honey Bees is a family owned beekeeping operation, and their bees forage from Richmond to Abbotsford, on various flowers including Blueberries, Raspberries, Cranberries, Blackberries, Clover, Maple and other trees, and numerous wildflowers. Jane’s honey is available at Farmer’s markets throughout Vancouver, check their website for specific locations. Prices start at about $5.00.   5. These retro-feel ceramic pieces are by Dahlhaus Art. They come in a variety of colours and are quite exquisite. You can find them at Poppytalk on East Broadway. Prices vary.
