Reflecting on Gratitude

Reflecting on Gratitude

Monday was Thanksgiving. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving always brings up the topic of gratitude, giving thanks for all we have. Abundance is ours. Sometimes we forget this from day to day and we would like to take this opportunity to remind ourselves of gratitude.

Sometimes it is good to just slow down a bit and notice what we do have. I don’t want to be that person who is never happy because I am too busy coveting the latest and greatest. I feel that design is like 3D art. But we can enjoy all it has to offer without getting caught up in it.

I want to come from a place of being aware- to be aware of the latest trends because I enjoy the visual appeal it has and I want to be able to enjoy my space but not because it has the latest and greatest but because it has evolved to be a part of me. I want people to walk in my space and know it is me and I want to come home at the end of the day and feel comfortable.

Everything does not have to be perfect. Design, to me, isn’t about perfection. It is about taking a beautiful image and taking what works for you.
